Just about 40 minutes ago I heard from our realtor. We finally got it. We closed on our house. Our House. And? And...maybe I was so happy I cried a little. At my desk. At work. I'm overjoyed and in shock, so forgive me for being a bit subdued.
I cannot believe this past year. The boy, the cat, the job, the house...it's all amazing. I feel like a real-live adult. An incredibly blessed and lucky real-live adult.

ReplyDeleteThanks, after a celebratory meal (at a buffet no less) and a post closing crash at 10pm, now I'm up at 2 in the morn. I'll probably pay for it later, but it doesn't matter. We can't wait to get our asses in that house!
